"New links" section
This section contains links registered in the system but not submitted by the administrator and not included into the catalogue.
Each link is supplied with the site URL, brief description, category and the e-mail address of a link owner. The following parameters are defined at the description field:
One can edit, submit or delete a link, as well as to define its rating and perform automatic checking (see Links checking).
To submit, to delete or to check several links at a time one should mark them off and use the corresponding Group operations buttons located below. To submit, to delete or to check all the links one should use Select all option
To edit the link data one should use Edit button; the system will display edit box:
Enter necessary changes and press Edit button. To restore previous data one should use Reset button; to return to the administering form use Back button.
Number of categories for a link is defined by settings. However, the administrator can add a link to a greater number of categories. To perform it, one should fill in all the available fields of the categoties and save the link; then editing form should be opened once again - additional field for a category selection will be added.
This section consists of links submitted by the administrator and added to the catalogue. The section interface and options are equal to the above-described (see New links). Besides, one can transfer links to "New" section with the help of To new option (they will not be displayed in the catalogue anymore).
This section contains links deleted form the catalogue or from "New links" section. The section interface and options are equal to those described above. These links can be restored by means of transferring them to "Submitted" section (displaying in the catalogue) or to "New" section (without displaying in the catalogue) with the help of the corresponding buttons.
The section contains duplicated links, added to the catalogue by mistake and placed to "Submitted links":
To view or edit the link details one should click on its name in the list:
Note: In case a link is already submitted to the catalogue, its repeated addition will be displayed in "New links" section with the corresponding mark:
This section holds links which do not display the web-site contents for various reasons. To single out such links one should use "[x]" button located to the right of its name; a warning message will appear on the screen:
Press Yes to transfer the link to the "Broken" category:
The section options are equal to the above-described (see New links). Besides, it is possible to return the link to the catalogue with the help of "Reset broken counter" option.
