Export&Import

"Export" and "Import" sections of the administrative interface are intended for XML data creation and restoring from the backup copies. The system supports export and import of the categories list, the links list, interface templates and settings (except config.php file).

One should export files before each update of the application. After the updating the data should be imported backwards. It is concerned with the fact that the database structure may be modified during the update and data may be lost.

Export to XML

Four XML-files are generated during the export. To download a certain file select the required item and press "Download XML".

By default the following file names are set:

• File with categories - cncat_rubrics.xml;
• File with links - cncat_links.xml;
• File with the design - cncat_design.xml;
• Settings file - cncat_config.xml.

Import

Import from XML

To import data you should set necessary parameters and define imported files. The files may be imported together, as well as separately. If a certain file is not defined, it won't be imported.
